Registered Nurse - RN - Correctional FacilityCareerStaff Unlimited is looking to hire full-time, experienced Registered Nurse within the Correctional Facility in Harvest, AL.
Qualified candidate will have a strong focus in patient care and have flexibility for all shifts including weekends and holidays.

JOB DETAILS FOR RN REGISTERED NURSE - CORRECTIONAL FACILITY:
Provide direct and indirect nursing care to inmates / patients under the direction of the supervising registered nurse and correctional facilityCollaborate with physicians and other health care providers; takes independent action within professional preparation and legal limits to maintain orderSupervise the conduct of inmates / patients to protect and maintain the safety of persons and propertyPlan and implement nursing care including administration of medication, therapeutic agents, treatments, disease preventions and restorative measures ordered by a physicianAssists physicians with medical and / or minor surgical proceduresPerform assessments and ongoing monitoring of inmate / patient physical and psychosocial statusEvaluate effectiveness of nursing care and treatment regimen; collaborate with physicians and other health care providersProvide clinical supervision of other nursing staff to ensure quality patient care; document nursing care in medical recordsEnsure safety of inmates / patients by monitoring work areas for safety and cleanlinessAdminister first aid in emergenciesCREDENTIALS REQUIRED FOR THE RN REGISTERED NURSE:
