Project Controls Engineer/Scheduler

Reviews plans and specs to become familiar with project scopes. Facilitates schedule development sessions with project team and subcontractors and collects data for schedule logic, activity durations, cost and resource requirements. Develops draft project schedules and distributes and reviews with project team. Oversees the monthly schedule updating process and provides technical support to project team as required. Ensures that corporate procedures are followed. Assists the project team(s) with schedule revisions and maintenance. Prepares status reporting and participates in schedule review sessions with upper management. Assists project team in the preparation of Time Impact Analyses for the purposes of demonstrating schedule delays and impacts. Provides project controls related training on an ongoing basis for project team(s). Develops proposal schedules for estimating/technical marketing. Assists with administering project controls related company and/or departmental programs. Performs additional assignments per supervisor's direction.
Education/Experience: Minimum high school diploma/GED and five years directly related experience required. Bachelor's degree in construction or engineering with minimum two years field experience preferred.
Certifications, Licenses, etc.: Current clearance, or the ability to obtain, a Department of State minimum secret security clearance required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Experienced in development of construction schedules on commercial projects. General knowledge of construction methods and practices and well-versed in planning and scheduling software (Primavera) and CPM application. Ability to effectively communicate with clients, upper management, and project teams.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
