Job Description:
At Regions, the Systems Administrator, under limited direction, is responsible for activities related to system administration.
Primary Responsibilities
Leads and assigns personnel to various projects, directs their activities and evaluates their work
Ensures long-term requirements of systems operations and administration are included in the overall information systems planning of the organization
Responsible for the installation, maintenance, configuration and integrity of computer software
Implements operating system enhancements that will improve the reliability and performance of the system
Monitors and maintains continuity with system software licensing and maintenance agreements
Provides recommendations regarding hardware and system software planning and budgeting
Responsible for compliance in Security and Regulatory standards
Some Scripting (i.e. PowerShell and Bash)
This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards act and is not eligible for overtime pay.
Bachelors degree in a related field or a technical training program and six years experience
Or High school diploma or GED and ten years work experience in an equivalent position will also qualify
Strong verbal and written communications skills
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Ability to multitask and prioritize projects
Strong analytical, problem-solving and conceptual skills
Ability to work well in a fast-paced team-oriented environment
Technical Qualifications:
Thorough understanding of Microsoft Windows Server administration
Administer and maintain integrity and performance of Active Directory and its infrastructure across multiple forests
Develop, deploy, and troubleshoot Group Policy
Administer Active Directory Federation Services
Manage AD Certificate services- support PKI infrastructure in addition to issuing and installing certificates on multiple platforms
Manage System Center Operations Manager and support its infrastructure
Administration of DNS and DHCP and support of its infrastructure
Good understanding of TCP/IP, and ability to troubleshoot issues using Netmon or Wireshark
Participate in 24x7 on call rotation

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
